How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?

Instant win  prizes

There will be in total 560 instant win prizes awarded (20 each day during the Competition Period).

The 20 instant win prizes each day (during the Competition Period) will be awarded based on pre-determined times selected by a computerised random system at Pilgrim Communication, 51A/23 Norton Street, Leichhardt, NSW 2040 (Pilgrim).  The first valid entry received on or after the pre-determined times will win.

All instant winning entries will also be included in any relevant major prize draw.

Major prize draws

The Wallabies will play 4 matches in France on 10/09/2023, 18/09/2023, 25/09/2023 and 02/10/2023 (each a Match).  For the avoidance of doubt, a Match does not include any 'friendly' match played by the Wallabies.

There will be 4 major prize draws (1 per Match).

In each major prize draw, the number of winners drawn will correspond to the number of tries scored by the Wallabies in that Match.  For example, if the Wallabies score 3 tries in the Match on 10/09/2023, the first 3 valid entries randomly drawn will win a major prize.

If the Wallabies do not score a try in a Match, the major prize draw for that Match will still go ahead, and the Promoter will instead award 1 consolation prize in that major draw for that Match.

While it is difficult to predict the number of tries the Wallabies will score in the Matches as at the time of preparing these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter expects the highest number of tries the Wallabies will score over 4 Matches to be 33 and therefore expects to award up to 33 major prizes (however, the actual number of tries could be higher or lower than 33).

The major draws will be conducted at Pilgrim at 11am (NSW time) as follows:

Match

Draw date

Entries included in the draw*

Number of winners drawn

10/09/2023

13/09/2023

All valid entries received from 12.01am AEST on 06/09/2023 up to 11.59pm AEST on 09/09/2023.

Equal to number of tries scored by the Wallabies in the Match on 10/09/2023 or 1 consolation prize (if no try scored)

18/09/2023

21/09/2023

All valid entries received from 12.01am AEST on 06/09/2023 up to 11.59pm AEST on 17/09/2023 (excluding any previous major prize winning entries).

Equal to number of tries scored by the Wallabies in the Match on 18/09/2023 or 1 consolation prize (if no try scored)

25/09/2023

28/09/2023

All valid entries received from 12.01am AEST on 06/09/2023 up to 11.59pm AEST on 24/09/2023 (excluding previous major prize winning entries).

Equal to number of tries scored by the Wallabies in the Match on 25/09/2023 or 1 consolation prize (if no try scored)

02/10/2023

06/10/2023

All valid entries received from 12.01am AEST on 06/09/2023 up to 11.59pm AEDT on 03/10/2023 (excluding previous major prize winning entries).

Equal to number of tries scored by the Wallabies in the Match on 02/10/2023 or 1 consolation prize (if no try scored)

If, for any reason the Wallabies do not play a Match and the Match is declared 'cancelled' (and is not postponed to another date), the Promoter will still conduct a major prize draw for that Match and will award 1 consolation prize in that draw.

If a Match is postponed and rescheduled to another date, the major prize draw for that Match will take place after the new Match date (and the number of winners drawn, and therefore the number prizes awarded in that draw, will be dictated by the number of tries scored by the Wallabies, or 1 consolation prize will be awarded if the Wallabies do not score a try in that Match).

For clarity, if the Wallabies score a try (or tries) in a Match but that Match is not played to the official full time (due to, for example but not limited to, the Match being called off or abandoned), the Promoter will still conduct a major draw for that Match and will consider the number of tries scored by the Wallabies (if any) up to the point the Match was abandoned to be valid, to determine the number of winners drawn, and therefore the number of prizes to be awarded, in that draw.

Max 1 major/consolation prize per person (except for SA residents).

The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in any draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

What can I win?

There are 560 instant win prizes available, and the Promoter expects there to be up to 33 major prizes awarded.

Minor prizes

Each instant win prize is a $10 Woolworths Supermarket eGift Card.  Woolworths Group Ltd (ABN 88 000 014 675) is the issuer of the Woolworths Supermarket eGift Card, but is not the promoter of this offer, nor responsible for fulfilment of the offer terms. Woolworths Supermarket eGift Cards are redeemable at participating stores only. For a list of participating stores and full Woolworths Supermarket eGift Card Terms and Conditions visit www.woolworths.com.au/giftcards.

Major prize/s

Each major prize (and any consolation prize awarded in a major prize draw) is AUD$1,000 cash, awarded via EFT transfer to winner’s nominated Australian bank account.  The Promoter is not liable if the winner does not provide their correct bank account details.

The number of major prizes awarded in the major prize draws is based on the number of tries the Wallabies score in the 4 Matches, and where no tries are scored in a Match by the Wallabies, a consolation prize will instead be awarded).  See “How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?” above.

For the avoidance of doubt, if the Wallabies score more than 33 tries for the Matches, the Promoter will award a number of major prizes equal to the number of tries scored by the Wallabies in the Matches.

Total prize pool

The instant win prize pool is $5,600.

The major prize pool is expected to be up to $33,000 (based on the Promoter expecting the Wallabies to score a total of up to 33 tries in the Matches).

The total expected prize pool is up to $38,600.

How many times can I enter?

You can only enter once per day and there is a maximum of 4 entries per household in total.  Each entry must be submitted separately in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

How and when will the winners be informed?

Instant win prize winners will be notified on screen, at the time of entering, and will also receive an email confirming they have provisionally won a prize with details on how to verify their entry and claim the prize.

All winners will be subject to validation.  Allow 4 business days for validation.

Any major prize/consolation prize winner/s will be notified by email within 5 business days of the relevant draw date and will have their name and postcode of residence published on the Website on 11/10/2023.  The Promoter may also publish a major prize/consolation prize winner's name and postcode of residence on any of its official social media channels.

Proof of purchase

You must keep the following as proof of purchase for all entries:

  • original itemised purchase receipt(s).

If you don't produce the above proof of purchase for all entries when asked the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to a prize.

Proof of purchase must be identical to that provided by you with your entry.

If, in the Promoter's opinion, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, your entries will be invalid and you will lose any right to a prize.

Unclaimed and unwon prize/s

Prize claim date: 5pm (AEDT) on 13/11/2023.

Unclaimed/unwon prize determination: 2pm (AEDT) on 14/11/2023 at Pilgrim.

If any instant win prize is un-won during the Competition Period or a major/consolation prize originally awarded has not been accepted or claimed by the prize claim date above or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the Promoter) by the prize claim date above, the relevant entry/ies will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the relevant prize/s to Reserve Entrant/s and/or carry out an unclaimed prize draw at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the prize/s (in descending order of value, if applicable).  Any winner/s will be informed by email within 7 business days of determination and if they win the major/consolation prize, will also have their name and postcode of residence published on the Website on 17/11/2023.

If any prize remains un-won at the end of this competition, or if a prize winner cannot be found, that information will be published on the Website on 10/12/2023.

Collection and use of your personal information

If you are a major prize winner, you must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation.  You consent to the Promoter using your name and image in any promotional or advertising activity.

In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (see https://au.mondelezinternational.com/privacy-policy), if an entrant elects to opt in to receive marketing materials from the Promoter by ticking the relevant box on the online entry form, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. The claimant will be able to opt out at any time.
